Useful resources, research & books
The basis of my coaching work and the concepts I work within are drawn heavily from research and evidence based information. The links to much of this information, whether from research or published books, can be found on this page. I have also included links to resources which I may refer to which are helpful or beneficial.

Gabor Mate
In our medical model of treating conditions, there is a divide between the mind and the body.
However more recent neuroscience findings and research are catching up and showing that the mind and body are in fact one system. In turn, what we ignore emotionally, either by repressing it or failing to process it, our body will speak for us.
In this talk, Gabor discusses the findings in how this link can help us understand the role of stress to our system and the disease connection along with the importance of listening, processing and acting in complete authentic expression of our Self.

Dr David Hamilton-Using science to inspire
I first met David when he was speaking in Bristol at an event in 2016. I found him inspiring to listen to, as he was the first person I heard speak using a blend of intuitive wisdom from what was considered by the Western society more ‘woo woo’ spiritual world mixed with science based research. After listening to him speak about the mind body connection, I had a conversation with him about my own desire to pursue coaching and personal development as a new career path. I would go as far as to say what he said to me lead me to step out of my comfort zone and start the journey to where I find myself today. You can find out more about his books, his blogs and hear him speak on the link below.
